22 Then it seemed good to 1the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them to send to 2Antioch with Paul and Barnabas -Judas called Barsabbas, and 3Silas, leading men among 4the brethren, 23 and they asent this letter by them, "5The apostles and the brethren who are elders, to 6the brethren in 7Antioch and 8Syria and 9Cilicia who are from the Gentiles, 10greetings. 24 "Since we have heard that 11some bof our number to whom we gave no instruction have 12disturbed you with their words, unsettling your souls, 25 13 it seemed good to us, having c become of one mind, to select men to send to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 men who have d14risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 "Therefore we have sent 15Judas and 16Silas, who themselves will also report the same things by word of mouth. 28 "For 17it seemed good to 18the Holy Spirit and to 19us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials: 29 that you abstain from 20things sacrificed to idols and from 21blood and from 22things strangled and from 23fornication; eif you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell."
