1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 3 How shall we escape , if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come , whereof we speak . 5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after ; 8 For if Jesus had given them rest , then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. 9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak . 14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. 19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book , and all the people, 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh . 18 Of whom it was said , That in Isaac shall thy seed be called : 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh . For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow , considering the end of their conversation.
