6 Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through , and where no man dwelt ? 20 For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst , I will not transgress ; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest , playing the harlot . 22 Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail ; though they roar , yet can they not pass over it? 28 They are waxen fat , they shine : yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper ; and the right of the needy do they not judge . 13 I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade ; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them. 20 The harvest is past , the summer is ended , and we are not saved . 10 For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up , so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled ; they are gone . 12 Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken , that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through ? 15 What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest . 24 Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passeth away by the wind of the wilderness. 14 And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you. 16 To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing ; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished , and wag his head. 8 And I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof. 8 And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city? 9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake ; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome , because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness. 35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin . 13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD. 18 And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof, 19 The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf; 10 Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king's daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive , and departed to go over to the Ammonites . 17 They did cry there, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise; he hath passed the time appointed. 32 O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage. 17 Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished , and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof. 13 Because of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited , but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished , and hiss at all her plagues. 43 Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth , neither doth any son of man pass thereby.
