No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born ?
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly , and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
And he that was healed wist not who it was : for Jesus had conveyed himself away , a multitude being in that place.
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
He answered and said , Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know , that, whereas I was blind, now I see .
And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming , and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth : and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
The Jews answered him, saying , For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out , followed her, saying , She goeth unto the grave to weep there.
And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all ,
And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record .
One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off , saith , Did not I see thee in the garden with him?
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered , Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born , and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave . He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.
The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
Simon Peter went up , and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken .
