16 And they answered Joshua, saying , All that thou commandest us we will do , and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go . 3 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying , Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country. 21 And she said , According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away , and they departed : and she bound the scarlet line in the window. 17 And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live , she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent . 25 And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive , and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. 2 And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying , Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai. 22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it. 3 So Joshua arose , and all the people of war, to go up against Ai: and Joshua chose out thirty thousand mighty men of valour, and sent them away by night. 9 Joshua therefore sent them forth : and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people. 3 Wherefore Adonizedek king of Jerusalem sent unto Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, saying , 6 And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying , Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us. 1 And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph, 7 Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out , and to come in . 4 Give out from among you three men for each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall rise , and go through the land, and describe it according to the inheritance of them; and they shall come again to me. 6 So Joshua blessed them, and sent them away : and they went unto their tents. 7 Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them, 13 And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, 5 I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out . 9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you: 12 And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow. 28 So Joshua let the people depart , every man unto his inheritance.
