11 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: 15 Whithersoever they went out , the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had said , and as the LORD had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed . 7 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves. 12 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD. 1 And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead . 1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years. 23 Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech: 56 Thus God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren: 57 And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God render upon their heads: and upon them came the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal. 6 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him. 27 Wherefore I have not sinned against thee, but thou doest me wrong to war against me: the LORD the Judge be judge this day between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon. 12 And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying , What wickedness is this that is done among you? 13 Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death , and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel: 34 And there came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore : but they knew not that evil was near them. 41 And when the men of Israel turned again , the men of Benjamin were amazed : for they saw that evil was come upon them.
