20 And, behold , thou shalt be dumb , and not able to speak , until the day that these things shall be performed , because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. 22 And when he came out , he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless. 8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 12 And it came to pass , when he was in a certain city , behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying , Lord, if thou wilt , thou canst make me clean . 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason , saying , Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? 34 And he said unto them , Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast , while the bridegroom is with them? 39 And he spake a parable unto them , Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? 42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye. 19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press. 40 And I besought thy disciples to cast him out ; and they could not. 7 And he from within shall answer and say , Trouble me not: the door is now shut , and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? 26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? 11 And, behold , there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together , and could in no wise lift up herself. 20 And another said , I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come . 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath , he cannot be my disciple. 2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward . 13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed : so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot ; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 26 And they that heard it said , Who then can be saved ? 3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was ; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist .
