To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age , and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;
When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying , Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
And it came to pass , when he was in a certain city , behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying , Lord, if thou wilt , thou canst make me clean .
And, behold , men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy : and they sought means to bring him in , and to lay him before him.
When the men were come unto him, they said , John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying , Art thou he that should come ? or look we for another?
And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away , saying ,
And, behold , there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:
For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.
And, behold , there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake , they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
And, behold , a man of the company cried out , saying , Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.
The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold , a greater than Solomon is here.
The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold , a greater than Jonas is here.
For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery : and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery .
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
And, behold , there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
And when they saw it, they all murmured , saying , That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.
And, behold , there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:
And it came to pass , as they were much perplexed thereabout , behold , two men stood by them in shining garments:
And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
