And devils also came out of many, crying out , and saying , Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak : for they knew that he was Christ.
And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying , Art thou he that should come ? or look we for another?
When the men were come unto him, they said , John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying , Art thou he that should come ? or look we for another?
And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down , and reapest that thou didst not sow .
And after a little while another saw him, and said , Thou art also of them. And Peter said , Man, I am not.
Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe :
Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am .
And Pilate asked him, saying , Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said , Thou sayest it.
And saying , If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.
And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying , If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
But the other answering rebuked him, saying , Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
