Young's Literal Translation
Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
Saying , The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain , and be raised the third day.
And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
And it came to pass , that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel , the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
And he went his way , and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out , as against a thief, with swords and staves?
Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.
And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together , and led him into their council, saying ,
Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.
And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.
And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified . And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed .
And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
