Young's Literal Translation
And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.
And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down , and taught the people out of the ship.
And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat .
Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again .
But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.
And as he spake , a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in , and sat down to meat .
And they all with one consent began to make excuse . The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused .
And another said , I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused .
Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
Then he said , I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go .
