And from thence he arose , and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid .
And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way?
And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
And Jesus answered and said , Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers : these shall receive greater damnation.
And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch .
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh , at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat , there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.
