Matthew 16:21; Matthew 17:10; Matthew 18:33; Matthew 23:23; Matthew 24:6; Matthew 25:27; Matthew 26:35; Matthew 26:54 (King James Version)

21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed , and be raised again the third day. 10 And his disciples asked him, saying , Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come ? 33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment , mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done , and not to leave the other undone . 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled : for all these things must come to pass , but the end is not yet. 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples. 54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled , that thus it must be ?
