Young's Literal Translation
When he arose , he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred .
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
And at midnight there was a cry made , Behold , the bridegroom cometh ; go ye out to meet him.
Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written , I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad .
Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow , thou shalt deny me thrice.
Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away , and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
Saying , Say ye , His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept .
