9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid . 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 2 And, behold , there came a leper and worshipped him, saying , Lord, if thou wilt , thou canst make me clean . 15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn , as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come , when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast . 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye , being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh . 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring . O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? 16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. 19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart , and said , Why could not we cast him out ? 12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. 25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed , saying , Who then can be saved ? 22 But Jesus answered and said , Ye know not what ye ask . Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of , and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with ? They say unto him, We are able . 46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions. 9 For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. 42 He went away again the second time, and prayed , saying , O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done . 53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? 61 And said , This fellow said , I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. 42 He saved others; himself he cannot save . If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
