Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil .
Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain .
Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.
Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah.
