1 You have rejected us,1 O God, and burst forth upon us; you have been angry2--now restore us!3 2 You have shaken the land4 and torn it open; mend its fractures,5 for it is quaking. 3 You have shown your people desperate times;6 you have given us wine that makes us stagger.7 4 But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner8 to be unfurled against the bow.
