33 As it is written , Behold , I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed . 9 And David saith , Let their table be made a snare , and a trap , and a stumblingblock , and a recompence unto them: 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. 17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned ; and avoid them .
