13 Entonces Dios subió de su lado, en el lugar donde había hablado con él.

Genesis 35:13

And God went up from him
Or "from above" him ^F24; by this it seems that there was a visible appearance of the glory of the Lord, as Onkelos, or of the Shechinah, as Jonathan; even of the Son of God in an human form, who either appeared just above him, or on the same spot with him, conversing with him as above related; and when he had done, ascended in a visible manner from him, till he disappeared: in the place where he talked with him;
whether it was over him, or by him; thence he removed from him, and ceased talking with him; for communion with a divine Person is not constant and uninterrupted in the present state.

11 También le dijo Dios: Yo soy el Dios Todopoderoso. Sé fecundo y multiplícate; una nación y multitud de naciones vendrán de ti, y reyes saldrán de tus lomos.

12 Y la tierra que di a Abraham y a Isaac, a ti te la daré; y daré la tierra a tu descendencia después de ti.

13 Entonces Dios subió de su lado, en el lugar donde había hablado con él.

14 Y Jacob erigió un pilar en el lugar donde Dios había hablado con él, un pilar de piedra, y derramó sobre él una libación; también derramó sobre él aceite.

15 Y Jacob le puso el nombre de Betel al lugar donde Dios había hablado con él.
