16 Y ellos respondieron a Josué, diciendo: Haremos todo lo que nos has mandado, y adondequiera que nos envíes, iremos.

Joshua 1:16

And they answered Joshua
The two tribes of Gad and Reuben, and the half tribe of Manasseh, the heads of them, such as were deputed for that purpose, and were their mouths to him:

saying, all that thou commandest we will do;
with respect to this affair of going over Jordan with their brethren, to assist them in the conquest of the land of Canaan:

and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go;
in what position he would have them be in the army, and to whatsoever part of the country he should send them to subdue, and to whatsoever city he should order them to besiege.

14 Vuestras mujeres, vuestros pequeños y vuestro ganado permanecerán en la tierra que Moisés os dio al otro lado del Jordán; pero vosotros, todos los valientes guerreros, pasaréis en orden de batalla delante de vuestros hermanos, y los ayudaréis,

15 hasta que el SEÑOR dé reposo a vuestros hermanos como a vosotros, y ellos también posean la tierra que el SEÑOR vuestro Dios les da. Entonces volveréis a vuestra tierra y poseeréis lo que Moisés, siervo del SEÑOR, os dio al otro lado del Jordán hacia el oriente.

16 Y ellos respondieron a Josué, diciendo: Haremos todo lo que nos has mandado, y adondequiera que nos envíes, iremos.

17 Como obedecimos en todo a Moisés, así te obedeceremos a ti, con tal que el SEÑOR tu Dios esté contigo como estuvo con Moisés.

18 Cualquiera que se rebele contra tu mandato y no obedezca tus palabras en todo lo que le mandes, se le dará muerte; solamente sé fuerte y valiente.
