21
Once you were alienated from God and were enemies1 in your minds2 because ofa your evil behavior.
22
But now he has reconciled3 you by Christ's physical body4 through death to present you5 holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation6--
23
if you continue7 in your faith, established8 and firm, not moved from the hope9 held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven,10 and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.11
24
Now I rejoice12 in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions,13 for the sake of his body, which is the church.1425
I have become its servant15 by the commission God gave me16 to present to you the word of God17 in its fullness--
26
the mystery18 that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints.
27
To them God has chosen to make known19 among the Gentiles the glorious riches20 of this mystery, which is Christ in you,21 the hope of glory.
28
We proclaim him, admonishing22 and teaching everyone with all wisdom,23 so that we may present everyone perfect24 in Christ.
29
To this end I labor,25 struggling26 with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.27
