and have put on the new self,1 which is being renewed2 in knowledge in the image of its Creator.311
Here there is no Greek or Jew,4 circumcised or uncircumcised,5 barbarian, Scythian, slave or free,6 but Christ is all,7 and is in all.

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves8 with compassion, kindness, humility,9 gentleness and patience.1013
Bear with each other11 and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.1214
And over all these virtues put on love,13 which binds them all together in perfect unity.1415
Let the peace of Christ15 rule in your hearts, since as members of one body16 you were called to peace.17 And be thankful.

Let the word of Christ18 dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom,19 and as you sing psalms,20 hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.2117
And whatever you do,22 whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks23 to God the Father through him.

Wives, submit to your husbands,24 as is fitting in the Lord.

Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
