{Maschil,} or a Psalm giving instruction, of the sons, etc. Or, "An instructive Psalm," or didactic ode, "for the sons of Korah." It is generally supposed to have been written by David when driven from Jerusalem and beyond Jordan, by Absalom's rebellion.
