Bronze Basins and Other Utensils

38 Then he made 10 bronze basins-each basin holding 220 gallons[a] and each was six feet[b] wide-one basin for each of the 10 water carts.
39 He set five water carts on the right side of the temple and five on the left side.[c] He put the reservoir near the right side of the temple toward the southeast.[d]
40 Then Hiram made the basins, the shovels, and the sprinkling basins.[e] So Hiram finished all the work that he was doing for King Solomon on the Lord's temple:

This chapter gives an account of some buildings of Solomon for himself, 1Ki 7:1-12; and of other things for the use of the temple; of two pillars of brass, 1Ki 7:13-22; of the molten sea, 1Ki 7:23-26; and of ten bases, and ten layers on them, 1Ki 7:27-39; with other utensils and ornaments, 1Ki 7:40-51.
