1 Chronik 22:9

9 Siehe, ein Sohn wird dir geboren werden, der wird ein Mann der Ruhe sein, und ich werde ihm Ruhe schaffen vor allen seinen Feinden ringsum. Denn Salomo wird sein Name sein, und Frieden und Ruhe werde ich Israel geben in seinen Tagen.

1 Chronicles 22:9

Behold, a son shall be born to thee
For this was said to David before the birth of Solomon, see ( 2 Samuel 7:12 2 Samuel 7:13 ) ( 12:24 )

who shall be a man of rest, and I will give him rest from all his
enemies round about:
and so should be at leisure for such a work, and his people enjoy great prosperity and riches, and so be capable of contributing largely and liberally to it:

for his name shall be Solomon;
which signifies peace, and is one of the six persons that had their names given them before they were born, as the Jews observe ^F17:

and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days;
and so a proper time to begin and carry on such a work; of the fulfilment of this prophecy, see ( 1 Kings 4:24 1 Kings 4:25 ) ( 1 Kings 5:3 1 Kings 5:4 ) .

7 Und David sprach zu Salomo: Mein Sohn! Ich selbst hatte in meinem Herzen, dem Namen Jehovas, meines Gottes, ein Haus zu bauen.

8 Aber das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir, indem er sprach: Du hast Blut in Menge vergossen und große Kriege geführt; du sollst meinem Namen kein Haus bauen, denn viel Blut hast du vor mir zur Erde vergossen.

10 Der wird meinem Namen ein Haus bauen; und er soll mir Sohn, und ich will ihm Vater sein; und ich werde den Thron seines Königtums über Israel befestigen auf ewig. -

11 Nun, mein Sohn, Jehova sei mit dir, daß es dir gelinge, und das Haus Jehovas, deines Gottes, bauest, so wie er von dir geredet hat!
