61Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,
72rooted and 3built up in him and 4established in the faith, just 5as you were taught, abounding 6in thanksgiving.
See to it that no one takes you captive by 7philosophy and 8empty deceit, according to 9human tradition, according to the 10elemental spiritsa of the world, and not according to Christ.
For 11in him the whole fullness of deity dwells 12bodily,
and 13you have been filled in him, who is 14the head of all rule and authority.
In him also 15you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by 16putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
1217having been buried with him in baptism, in which 18you were also raised with him through faith in 19the powerful working of God, 20who raised him from the dead.
1321And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God 22made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
by 23canceling 24the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
1525He disarmed the rulers and authoritiesb and 26put them to open shame, by 27triumphing over them in him.c
