45 1"All these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you till you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes that he commanded you.

Moreover, all these curses shall come upon thee
Before related, as well as what follow:

and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee till thou be destroyed;
which though they would endeavour to flee from and escape, should not be able, since they would follow them so closely and swiftly, and overtake them, and seize upon them; see ( Deuteronomy 28:15 ) ;

because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to
keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee;
to which disobedience all the curses are to be imputed that go before or follow after.
