But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe.

1All that 2the Father gives me will come to me, and 3whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

For 4I have come down from heaven, not to do 5my own will but 6the will of him 7who sent me.
39
And 8this is the will of him who sent me, 9that I should lose nothing of 10all that he has given me, but 11raise it up on the last day.
40
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who 12looks on the Son and 13believes in him 14should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day."

So the Jews grumbled about him, because he said, 15"I am the bread that came down from heaven."

They said, 16"Is not this Jesus, 17the son of Joseph, whose father and mother 18we know? How does he now say, 'I have come down from heaven'?"

Jesus answered them, "Do not grumble among yourselves.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me 19draws him. And 20I will raise him up on the last day.

It is written in the Prophets, 21'And they will all be 22taught by God.'23Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me--
46
24not that anyone has seen the Father except 25he who is from God; he 26has seen the Father.
