But he will say, 'I tell you, 1I do not know where you come from. 2Depart from me, all you workers of evil!'

3In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see 4Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but 5you yourselves cast out.

And 6people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and 7recline at table in the kingdom of God.
30
And behold, 8some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last."
Lament over Jerusalem
31 At that very hour some Pharisees came and said to him, "Get away from 9here, for 10Herod wants to kill you."

And he said to them, "Go and tell that fox, 'Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day 11I finish my course.

Nevertheless, 12I 13must go on my way today and tomorrow and the day following, for it cannot be that 14a prophet should perish away from Jerusalem.'

15O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that 16kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! 17How often would I have 18gathered 19your children together 20as a hen gathers her brood 21under her wings, and 22you would not!

Behold, 23your house is forsaken. And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, 24'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!'"
