Mark 15:24-34

And they crucified him and 1divided his garments among them, casting lots for them, to decide what each should take.
And 2it was the third hour[a] when they crucified him.
And the inscription of the charge against him read, 3"The King of the Jews."
And with him they crucified two 4robbers, 5one on his right and one on his left.[b]
And 6those who passed by derided him, 7wagging their heads and saying, 8"Aha! 9You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,
save yourself, and come down from the cross!"
So also the chief priests with the scribes mocked him to one another, saying, 10"He saved others; 11he cannot save himself.
Let 12the Christ, 13the King of Israel, come down now from the cross that we may 14see and believe."15Those who were crucified with him also reviled him.

The Death of Jesus

And when the sixth hour[c] had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.[d]
And at the ninth hour Jesus 16cried with a loud voice, 17"Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?" which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
