16 Jebusites,¹ Amorites,² Girgashites,³ 17 Hivites,⁴ Arkites, Sinites, 18 Arvadites,⁵ Zemarites and Hamathites.⁶ Later the Canaanite⁷ clans scattered 19 and the borders of Canaan⁸ reached from Sidon⁹ toward Gerar¹⁰ as far as Gaza,¹¹ and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim,¹² as far as Lasha. 20 These are the sons of Ham by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
