45 I will live among the people of Israel, and I will be their God.

Exodus 29:45

And I will dwell among the children of Israel
In the tabernacle ordered to be built for him, and which, when built, was placed in the midst of the camp of Israel; and here Jehovah dwelt as a king in his palace, near at hand to help, protect, and defend his subjects, and supply them with all things needful for them; see ( Deuteronomy 4:7 )

and will be their God;
their covenant God, their King and their God, their government being a Theocracy; their God and Father, by national adoption, and from whom they might expect all good things, they continuing in obedience to his commands, by the tenure of which they held their rights and privileges, civil and ecclesiastical.

43 There I will meet the people of Israel, and the dazzling light of my presence will make the place holy.
44 I will make the Tent and the altar holy, and I will set Aaron and his sons apart to serve me as priests.
45 I will live among the people of Israel, and I will be their God.
46 They will know that I am the Lord their God who brought them out of Egypt so that I could live among them. I am the Lord their God.
