14
He was a widow'sson from the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in bronze; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill for doinganywork in bronze. So he came to KingSolomon and performedall his work.
16
He also madetwocapitals of moltenbronze to set on the tops of the pillars; the height of the onecapital was fivecubits and the height of the othercapital was fivecubits.
17
There were nets of network and twistedthreads of chainwork* for the capitalswhich were on the top of the pillars; seven for the onecapital and seven for the othercapital.
18
So he made the pillars, and tworowsaround on the onenetwork to cover the capitalswhich were on the top of the pomegranates; and so he did for the othercapital.
20
There were capitals on the twopillars, evenabove* and close* to the roundedprojectionwhich was beside the network; and the pomegranates numbered two hundred in rowsaroundbothcapitals.
21
Thus he set up the pillars at the porch of the nave; and he set up the rightpillar and named* it Jachin, and he set up the leftpillar and named* it Boaz.
23
Now he made the sea of cast metal tencubits from brim to brim, circular in form, and its height was fivecubits, and thirtycubits in circumference**.
25
It stood on twelve*oxen, threefacingnorth, threefacingwest, threefacingsouth, and threefacingeast; and the sea was set on top of them, and all their rearparts turned inward.
29
and on the borderswhich were between the frames were lions, oxen and cherubim; and on the frames there was a pedestalabove*, and beneath* the lions and oxen were wreaths of hangingwork.
31
Its openinginside* the crown at the top was a cubit, and its opening was round like the design of a pedestal, a cubit and a half; and also on its opening there were engravings, and their borders were square, not round.
36
He engraved on the plates of its stays and on its borders, cherubim, lions and palmtrees, according to the clearspace on each, with wreaths all around.
39
Then he set the stands, five on the rightside of the house and five on the leftside of the house; and he set the sea of cast metal on the rightside of the houseeastwardtoward* the south.
40
Now Hirammade the basins and the shovels and the bowls. So Hiramfinisheddoingall the workwhich he performed for KingSolomon in the house of the LORD:
41
the twopillars and the two bowls of the capitalswhich were on the top of the twopillars, and the twonetworks to cover the twobowls of the capitalswhich were on the top of the pillars;
42
and the fourhundredpomegranates for the twonetworks, tworows of pomegranates for eachnetwork to cover the twobowls of the capitalswhich were on the tops of the pillars;
49
and the lampstands, five on the rightside and five on the left, in front of the innersanctuary, of puregold; and the flowers and the lamps and the tongs, of gold;
50
and the cups and the snuffers and the bowls and the spoons and the firepans, of puregold; and the hinges both for the doors of the innerhouse, the mostholyplace, and for the doors of the house, that is, of the nave, of gold.
51
Thus all the work that KingSolomonperformed in the house of the LORD was finished. And Solomonbrought in the thingsdedicated by his fatherDavid, the silver and the gold and the utensils, and he put them in the treasuries of the house of the LORD.
