Jehoiachin was eighteen*yearsold when he becameking, and he reignedthreemonths in Jerusalem; and his mother'sname was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.

Jehoiachin the king of Judahwent out to the king of Babylon, he and his mother and his servants and his captains and his officials. So the king of Babylontook him captive in the eighthyear of his reign.

He carried out from thereall the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king'shouse, and cut in piecesall the vessels of goldwhichSolomonking of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, just as the LORD had said.

Then he ledaway into exileallJerusalem and all the captains and all the mightymen of valor, tenthousandcaptives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. Noneremainedexcept the poorestpeople of the land.

So he ledJehoiachinaway into exile to Babylon; also the king'smother and the king'swives and his officials and the leadingmen of the land, he led away into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.

All the men of valor, seventhousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths, one thousand, allstrong and fit for war, and these the king of Babylonbrought into exile to Babylon.
