On my right14 the tribea attacks; they lay snares15 for my feet,16 they build their siege ramps against me.1713
They break up my road;18 they succeed in destroying me19-- without anyone's helping them.b14
They advance as through a gaping breach;20 amid the ruins they come rolling in.

Terrors21 overwhelm me;22 my dignity is driven away as by the wind, my safety vanishes like a cloud.23
