1After these thingsJesusshewedhimselfagain to the disciplesat the sea of Tiberias;and on this wiseshewed he himself.
There weretogetherSimonPeter, andThomascalledDidymus, andNathanaelofCana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee,andtwootherofhisdisciples.3SimonPetersaith unto them, I go a fishing . They say unto him,Wealsogowiththee. They went forth , andenteredinto a shipimmediately;andthatnight they caughtnothing.4But when the morningwasnowcome , Jesusstoodon the shore:but the disciplesknewnotthat it wasJesus.5ThenJesussaith unto them,Children,a have yeanymeat? They answeredhim,No.6And he said unto them,Cast the neton the rightside of the ship, and ye shall find . They casttherefore, andnow they werenotable to drawitfor the multitude of fishes.7ThereforethatdisciplewhomJesuslovedsaith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when SimonPeterheardthat it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did casthimselfinto the sea.8And the otherdisciplescame in a little ship; (for they werenotfarfromland, but as it weretwohundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.9
As soonthen as they were cometoland, they saw a fire of coals there, andfishlaidthereon , andbread.10Jesussaith unto them,Bringof the fishwhich ye havenowcaught .11SimonPeter went up , anddrew the nettolandfull of greatfishes, an hundred and fifty and three:and for all there were so many, yet wasnot the netbroken .
12Jesussaith unto them,Come and dine .Andnone of the disciplesdurstaskhim,Whoartthou?knowingthat it was the Lord.13Jesusthencometh , andtakethbread,andgiveththem,andfishlikewise.14Thisisnow the third time that Jesus shewed himself to hisdisciples, after that he was risenfrom the dead.15Sowhen they had dined , Jesussaith to SimonPeter,Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thoume more thanthese? He saith unto him,Yea,Lord;thouknowestthat I lovethee. He saith unto him,Feedmylambs.16
He saith to himagain the second time,Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thoume? He saith unto him,Yea,Lord;thouknowestthat I lovethee. He saith unto him,Feedmysheep.17
He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?Peter was grievedbecause he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me?And he said unto him,Lord, thouknowest all things;thouknowestthat I lovethee.Jesussaith unto him,Feedmysheep.18Verily,verily, I say unto thee,When thou wastyoung, thou girdedstthyself, andwalkedstwhither thou wouldest : butwhen thou shalt be old , thou shalt stretch forththyhands, andanother shall girdthee, andcarry thee whither thou wouldestnot.19This spake he , signifying by whatdeath he should glorifyGod.And when he had spokenthis, he saith unto him,Followme.20ThenPeter, turning about , seeth the disciplewhomJesuslovedfollowing ; whichalsoleanedonhisbreastatsupper, andsaid , Lord, which is he that betrayeththee?21Peterseeinghimsaith to Jesus,Lord, andwhat shall this man do?
22Jesussaith unto him, If I will that hetarrytill I come , what is that tothee?followthoume.23Thenwentthissayingabroadamong the brethren, thatthatdiscipleshouldnotdie : yetJesussaidnot unto him , He shallnotdie ; but,If I will that hetarrytill I come , what is that tothee?24Thisis the disciplewhichtestifiethof these things, andwrote these things:and we knowthathistestimonyistrue.25And there arealsomany other thingswhichJesusdid , the which,if they should be writteneveryone, I suppose that even the worlditself could notcontain the books that should be written . Amen.
