ButtheirscribesandPhariseesmurmuredagainsthisdisciples,saying, Why do ye eatanddrinkwithpublicansandsinners?

AndJesusansweringsaiduntothem,They that are wholeneed*not a physician;but they that aresick.

I camenot to call the righteous,butsinnerstorepentance.

And they saiduntohim,Whydo the disciples of Johnfastoften,andmakeprayers,andlikewise the disciples of the Pharisees;butthineeatanddrink?

And he saiduntothem*, Can yemake the children of the bridechamberfast, whilethebridegroomiswiththem?

But the days will come, whenthebridegroom shall be taken awayfromthem, and then shall they fastinthosedays.

And he spakealso a parableuntothem*; No manputteth a piece of a newgarmentupon an old*; if otherwise, thenboth the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the newagreethnot with the old.

And no manputtethnewwineintooldbottles;else the newwine will burst the bottles,andbespilled, and the bottles shall perish.

Butnewwine must be putintonewbottles;andboth are preserved.

No manalso having drunkold wine straightwaydesirethnew:for he saith, The oldisbetter.
