The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come :
And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
And Ananias hearing these words fell down , and gave up the ghost : and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies , and that were lame, were healed .
And there was great joy in that city.
To whom they all gave heed , from the least to the greatest, saying , This man is the great power of God.
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized , he continued with Philip, and wondered , beholding the miracles and signs which were done .
And saw heaven opened , and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
I was in the city of Joppa praying : and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend , as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked .
And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying , Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised , and her magnificence should be destroyed , whom all Asia and the world worshippeth .
And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out , saying , Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out , Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said , Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?
And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose , and strove , saying , We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come :
And as he thus spake for himself , Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself ; much learning doth make thee mad .
