The LORD standeth up to plead , and standeth to judge the people.

And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem unto king Hezekiah with a great army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field.
Then Rabshakeh stood , and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and said , Hear ye the words of the great king, the king of Assyria.
Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed : and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together , let them stand up ; yet they shall fear , and they shall be ashamed together.
They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place , and he standeth ; from his place shall he not remove : yea, one shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer , nor save him out of his trouble.
Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit , if so be thou mayest prevail .
Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers , the stargazers , the monthly prognosticators , stand up , and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make , shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain .
