And it was told the house of David, saying , Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved , and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
And he said , Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
And in mercy shall the throne be established : and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging , and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many : and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open , and none shall shut ; and he shall shut , and none shall open .
Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt ! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices.
For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
Go , and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
