The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest , except God be with him.
John answered and said , A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
And he said , Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth .
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am , there ye may be also.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask , and ye shall receive , that your joy may be full .
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am ; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
