So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid .
But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid .
These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold , thy King cometh , sitting on an ass's colt.
When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid ;
