For with God nothing shall be impossible .
And Mary said , Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
And it came to pass , as the angels were gone away from them into heaven , the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass , which the Lord hath made known unto us.
And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
But Mary kept all these things , and pondered them in her heart.
And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
And Jesus answered him , saying , It is written , That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.
And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them , neither knew they the things which were spoken .
And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace .
And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not .
