And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down , and cast into the fire.
Give , and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down , and shaken together , and running over , shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again .
For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
And it came to pass , as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said .
Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour , wherewith shall it be seasoned ?
And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said ,
