But the days will come , when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.
Then goeth he , and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in , and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
Then shall ye begin to say , We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.
But when thou art bidden , go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh , he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
So that servant came , and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached , and every man presseth into it.
Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh .
Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out ; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto .
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
