And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out , and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed .
And as he passed by , he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided , he cannot stand , but hath an end.
And straightway the damsel arose , and walked ; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
And from thence he arose , and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid .
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed , and after three days rise again .
And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen , till the Son of man were risen from the dead.
And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean .
But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up ; and he arose .
For he taught his disciples, and said unto them , The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed , he shall rise the third day.
And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont , he taught them again.
And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again .
And he, casting away his garment, rose , and came to Jesus.
In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise , whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry , nor are given in marriage ; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying ,
And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying , Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
