And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
But the days will come , when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
And should sleep , and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up , he knoweth not how.
And the same day, when the even was come , he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying , and cutting himself with stones.
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
And when a convenient day was come , that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords , high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;
In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat , Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them,
I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat :
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed , and after three days rise again .
And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again .
For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be .
And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved : but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen , he hath shortened the days.
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened , and the moon shall not give her light,
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death .
And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
I was daily with you in the temple teaching , and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled .
We heard him say , I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
