Matthew 3:10; Matthew 5:16; Matthew 7:17-19; Matthew 12:33; Matthew 13:8; Matthew 13:23-24; Matthew 13:27; Matthew 13:37-38; Matthew 13:45; Matthew 13:48; Matthew 15:26; Matthew 17:4; Matthew 18:8-9; Matthew 26:10; Matthew 26:24
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down , and cast into the fire.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down , and cast into the fire.
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold , some sixtyfold , some thirtyfold.
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit , and bringeth forth , some an hundredfold , some sixty , some thirty.
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying , The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
The field is the world ; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Which, when it was full , they drew to shore, and sat down , and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
But he answered and said , It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt , let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee , cut them off , and cast them from thee : it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out , and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed ! it had been good for that man if he had not been born .
