If they say , Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble .
Say not unto thy neighbour, Go , and come again , and to morrow I will give ; when thou hast it by thee.
When thou goest , thy steps shall not be straitened ; and when thou runnest , thou shalt not stumble .
Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go , humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise :
Come , let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.
Come , eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled .
He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known .
Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.
Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly .
A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
There be three things which go well , yea, four are comely in going :
