Luke 18:30

Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time,
&c.] Not more houses, parents, brethren but that which is abundantly preferable to them; such comfort, peace, satisfaction, and pleasure, as are not to be found in such enjoyments:

and in the world to come life everlasting;
which was what the young man was desirous of inheriting, ( Luke 18:18 ) (See Gill on Matthew 19:29).

29 And he said to them, "Truly I say to you that there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children on account of the kingdom of God,

31 And taking aside the twelve, he said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written by the prophets with reference to the Son of Man will be accomplished.
